Annabelle's Art Studio Birthday Party

Annabelle had an Art Studio themed birthday party
at The Vintage House for her 3rd birthday
A rainbow of colors filled each room...
I LOVE the way the momma created a display of "spilled" paint!
The food was simple, yet delicious!  Pre-made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, Kolache's sandwiches from the Kolache Factory, squeezable applesauce, pasta salad, and vegetable sticks.
A face painter was on hand, too, to create her own art on the little ones' faces.

The back porch of The Vintage House was used for the
Art Studio...where the guests could create their masterpieces!

Happy Birthday to you, Annabelle Grace!!

A Shower for Baby Mirielle

October has been a busy month at The Vintage House
for baby showers.  I LOVE the innovative way
this banner was hung on the front porch of the house...
with the beautiful momma-to-be sitting on our swing!
These guests painted pumpkins pink for additional decor
to the front of the house...being the harvest time of year.
This great space in the dining room has a mirrored wall and is
decorated with a lovely sheer drape knotted softly.  It is a favorite area
used for displaying food or drink for many guests of The Vintage House.
You can't beat the vintage cabinet in our kitchen for displaying food and drinks...
the enamel table top pulls out for additional space.  The Vintage House
has several serving pieces to display your shown here.
The back porch of The Vintage House is a popular space
to set up a craft area for the guests to make something for the new baby...
whether it is a painted onesie, decorating barretts, or headbands or
doing a scrapbook page for the new baby.
Additional tables can easily be set up in the living room
to accommodate a sit down brunch or luncheon, as we
did for these lovely ladies.

A "Sprinkle" for Baby #3

A beautiful fall day at The Vintage House...perfect for hosting a "Sprinkle"
in celebration of a third "little pumpkin" coming into the world soon for one special momma!
I did not know what a "Sprinkle" was until I opened our house up as an event space.
(as apposed to a full blown "Shower" for the first case you didn't know either)

The front porch is decorated for the fall season, with pumpkins here and there...
The theme of the Sprinkle followed the fall season...
with the arrival of a new little pumpkin coming soon!
Little white pumpkins where nestled in a wooden bowl, with
bittersweet, and little pumpkin embellishments.
The Vintage House has beautiful white vintage ironstone dishes which can be used
by any guest of the house... burlap pockets with added embellishments to
keep with the fall decor were used to display the silverware.
The repurposed potting table is a perfect surface to prepare
food, and then to display the delectables, buffet style.
The Vintage House is the perfect place to celebrate
anything in life, especially new little ones...
The shabby chic green side table that is in the dining room is used
frequently by guests for displaying desserts.  The Vintage House has
a plethora of serving pieces for the guests of the house to use.
There are plenty of places at The Vintage House to display a garland or two or three...
whether it be on the mantel of the faux fireplace, across one of the archways
that separate the three front rooms, just to name a couple...
Some guests prefer hosting a sit-down type of event.
We have additional tables that can be set up to accommodate
additional seating for guests, upon request.
 Buffet easy!
The shabby chic dining room table is always
available for use at The Vintage House.
Special memories are always made at The Vintage House...
The memory of this special day for this beautiful momma will include receiving
a hand made quilt created for baby #3 from her baby's great grandmother...
The couch in the living room is the ideal spot for the guest of honor to sit
and open presents where guests can see from any angle in the front rooms
of the house.

The front porch swing is one of the most enjoyable seats at The Vintage House...
where you can sit and watch the world go many have done throughout
the years, since 1906, when this vintage house was built.
To my dear two daughters...whom I LOVE sharing beautiful
times, and creating new memories with...looking forward to many more...
Love you...always and forever!

Rehearsal Dinner in the Garden Courtyard

It was a perfect evening for Craig and Kelley's rehearsal dinner in the
garden courtyard of The Vintage House.
The groom's mom and brother prepared the entire meal for the guests!
The garden courtyard is a lovely setting for friends and family to gather.
Additional tables were brought in to accommodate the number of
guests that were invited to this special event.
Wine and other beverages were kept cold on ice in vintage enamel buckets.
While the mother and brother of the groom were preparing the main course
in the kitchen of the house, the guests enjoyed delicious appetizers.
The Vintage House has 3 tall top bar tables that can be
used by anyone who rents our venue.
Enjoying a lovely evening...among family and friends.

The groom's parents preparing the next course in the kitchen of The Vintage House.
The groom's brother is a chef by trade, and was preparing one of his specialties.
The main course was served buffet style and was set up in the dining room of The Vintage House.
The guests filled their plates with the incredible food that was prepared for them.
The strings of lights overhead created a lovely ambience to the already perfect setting.
The curtains hung between the trees really cozies up the garden courtyard.
A perfect evening, a perfect a perfect venue!
