A Baby Shower for Two...(Two Mommies that is...)

A baby shower is typically for your first baby.  When you are on the second and the third baby, however, a second or third shower doesn't always happen.  This group of young mothers decided they would have a celebration for two of them who were on their 2nd & 3rd babies...and, why not? :) 

"Oh the Places You'll Go" is a wonderful Dr. Seuss story that was presented 

as gifts to the Momma's for their new little ones. 

Everyone wrote well-wish sentiments inside each of the books.

 The food was displayed in the kitchen using a selection of some of the serving pieces 

that are on hand at The Vintage House for use with any rental.

 

 The freshly painted back porch room of The Vintage House is perfect for doing crafts...

A creative station was set up so everyone could take a few minutes during the shower to make sweet little bow-barrettes for one of mommies who was having a baby girl.

Easter Celebration @ The Vintage House

A family enjoyed celebrating Easter Sunday at The Vintage House...four generations spanning from the sweet young age of 20 months to the age of 84 years attended...it was a perfectly gorgeous spring day!

Everyone brought a dish to share, and was served buffet style in the kitchen.

 The indoor space, plus the outdoor space of The Vintage House 

allowed for plenty of seating for everyone.

 A favorite place to just sit and watch the world go by...

 The little ones were very patient as Great Grandpa passed out Easter eggs with a surprise inside!

Beautiful cousins...

 Who doesn't want to have bubbles on a beautiful spring day?  

Though, I was informed that this "bubble gun" didn't do a very good job of making bubbles...

A Bridal Shower Tea Party

I enjoy working with all of the lovely ladies that find their way to our sweet little venue...

And, Karla, the mother of the bride, was the most enthusiastic person I think I have ever enjoyed!  

She knew exactly what she wanted, and it was so fun helping her envision, and bringing to light, 

the perfect bridal shower at The Vintage House for her beautiful daughter Lee Marie.

They wanted to do a tea party theme, and everyone who attended wore a fun hat for the occasion.

 They served wonderful finger foods and beautiful little tea cakes.

These ladies were quite clever in how they displayed their lovely little tea cakes...

using crystal plates stacked between vintage blue jars...just perfect for a tea party!

I love the creative hats that these ladies wore!

 There was definitely a good time going on here...
