A Wine Tasting Social

 Dawn Potts of Lawing Financial hosted an incredible evening of
wine tasting at The Vintage House recently.  

 

Several of Dawn's clients old and new stopped by to enjoy wonderful wines, 

paired with delicious appetizers and some incredible conversation!

Sommelier Wayne Robinson. who is originally from South Africa,

 gave an entertaining and knowledgable 

presentation about wines from around the world.

Several types of wines were sampled by the guests.

The appetizers were incredibly delicious...of course everything 

tastes better when paired with the appropriate wine! 

 

I would like to thank Wayne and Dawn for hosting a wonderful event 

sharing wisdom, fun and wonderful wines from around the world!

  The evening was completely delightful!

Wine Tasting Social

Out of all the exciting events we have lined up for The Vintage House I was anticipating this one the most.   After lots of planning and shopping and decorating all I wanted to do was eat good food and drink good wine with our lovely guests.    And I'm happy to say both of these goals were accomplished.   

People seemed appreciative of the laid back and relaxing atmosphere of our informal wine social.  It was great to have a wine specialist present to describe the wines and how they paired with the appetizers.  However, my favorite part was hearing about the vineyards and regions of Italy where the grapes are grown.  Wine really does taste better with a beautiful mental image to back it up.
