An Evening Escape

A lovely intimate group of ladies enjoyed The Vintage House recently.
I don't believe that they had any special occasion in mind when they decided
to gather at our sweet venue.  Just an evening escape to be girls among girls,
enjoying a casual evening of food, drinks and chatting among best friends...
They created a theme for their gathering...
"A Mid Summer Night's Dream" and dressed up for the occasion.

Lu Turned Two!

Another little one's birthday was celebrated in a BIG way at The Vintage House...
Lu turned two!
The cake was decorated so sweet...with sprinkles,
and they served additional mini cupcakes. Both cake and cupcakes were served
on one of The Vintage House's tiered servers and cake stand that
are in inventory for the guests to use.

"Happy Birthday to You!"

When the birthday cake was cut in to, everyone
was surprised and delighted to see a rainbow inside!!

Lu's mom and dad invited a face painter to
paint the faces of the younger guests.

Lu admiring her painted face in the mirror
on the living room wall of The Vintage House.
A bouncy house was placed on the driveway of The Vintage House
for this particular birthday celebration.
The looks on these children's faces says it all...

The guests enjoyed the outdoor entertaining area of The Vintage House...
the weather was absolutely beautiful for this special celebration!

Lu was quite content with the festivities surrounding her on her special day!

A Bridal Luncheon

A bridal luncheon was held at The Vintage House recently...the main table was decorated with a vintage crocheted table cloth that was made by the bride's great grandmother, and adorned with pink roses, baby's breath and one hydrangea in little vintage milk bottles used as vases.
Each "vase" was then set upon vintage ironstone dishes to complete the lovely centerpiece arrangement.  These milk bottles are one way to display flowers at The Vintage House...we also have blue ball jars, white milk glass vases and crocks on hand for use.
The tables were set prior to the arrival of the guests with the ironstone dishes and
antique silverware that The Vintage House offers for use to whomever rents the space,
as well as serving dishes and platters.

These vintage compotes were used to display the yogurt, fruit and granola for the fruit parfaits that were being served as part of the luncheon.
A mimosa bar was created using The Vintage House's carafes, silver wine bucket for chilling the champagne, and glassware.

When girl's gather together at The Vintage House, whatever the occasion, everyone has such a wonderful experience sharing happy times together in our sweet, little venue!

The Vintage House has parfait glasses on hand for the guests to use.
The items that you see in this photo are a sampling of the serving pieces in The Vintage House inventory to use for your gathering ~ tiered servers, salad bowls, serving spoons, and much more.

It was requested that we add an additional dining table in the living room
to accommodate more guests in a "sit down" dining style event.
The special and "girly" ambience of The Vintage House, makes for a unique experience for all who are invited to partake in the special occasion that they are celebrating.
